We are running workshops for the general public this August and would love people to come along!
We will focus on the gentle and creative activity that is bread making and would encourage you to bring along your curious self to investigate touch, smell and taste in order to learn basic bread making skills.
WE WELCOME ALL AGES AND ABILITIES!
Times: Morning workshops 10am – 1pm (snacks included) to whole day ones 10-3pm (including lunch).
Dates: Morning workshops: Wednesday 5th, Friday 7th, Friday 14th, Friday 28th August
Day workshops will run on: Saturday 15th and Saturday 29th of August
Where: The workshops are running at a super garden kitchen in Stourbridge, very close to Mary Stephen’s Park and the centre of Stourbridge. We can have 8 people in each workshop.*
This is what you will make: At our morning workshops we will make wholemeal spelt, pitta and soda bread. We will use lemons, oranges, dried fruits and poppy and sesame seeds. The day workshop will include plaited bread and pitta and fougasse; including herbs and spices.
You will take all your baking home with you along with recipe cards!
Prices: Morning workshops – £35.00 per person Full day workshop – £75.00
We would ask for a 50% deposit on booking the workshop. Discounts for students.
*Please let us know if you have any special requirements – we will do the best we can to support you. If you need a carer/helper to come along to assist you this is fine. We have experienced volunteers who will also support you in the workshop 🙂 We have an inclusion policy and all are welcome.
